I’ve never been a big football fan.
I enjoy throwing a football back and forth outside on a beautiful day. I even played powder puff my Freshman year in high school. But watching the sport is just alright. Actually a tad bit boring at times in my opinion. I would like it better if it was more like hockey in the aspect of not stopping and going so much.
That being said, I do have a household of boys. And my boys LOVE football! Watching it. Learning about it. Playing it. Especially the tackling part, which can be aggravating because someone always gets hurt. Why do they keep playing it then?!?
I swear it is innate because even the baby likes tackling his older brothers to the ground. A friend from church asked me if my husband and I were big sports fans because our boys were so into football and baseball.
Um, nope. They just seem to be born that way!
With football season just around the corner…
