This FREE Spring Break Bucket List Bingo printable is a great way to add a little more fun to your family’s week off of school!
Spring is just around the corner which means my boys will be out of school for Spring Break soon! It would be wonderful to take a family trip somewhere…
But with baby girl coming soon (less than two months!!) and my husband’s work’s lack of paternity leave, we are saving up the majority of his vacation days to take care of me and the little one after the delivery. Unfortunately my post pregnant body doesn’t bounce back very well, so I need help during recovery.
And it just so happens that my husband will be away on a business trip for the majority of our Spring Break this year. So now its really up to me to fill up that time.
I’m not opposed to letting them play legos all day but I also don’t want the entire week to go by and then have them declare at the end that they didn’t have a good time.
How could I make their spring break fun?
Planning Spring Break Activities
So I started thinking of possible activities they would enjoy and also asked my boys for their input. Together we were able to brainstorm a pretty good list. And it’s great because they are now even more excited for their upcoming school-free week!
Some of the activities we came up with were:
- Camping in the backyard
- Baking cookies
- Visiting a new park
- Reading books
- Special midweek movie and popcorn night
- Inviting a friend or two over to play
- Camping in the backyard (Did I already mention that? That’s a BIG one for them.)
- Going to the library
Being the list maker and lover of pretty printables that I am, I thought it would be fun and helpful to create a Spring Break Bucket List to put up on our refrigerator for the boys to choose from throughout the week.
Bucket List BINGO!
I set to work on creating one. But somehow in the designing process my thoughts branched out to adding a bit more fun to our activity sheet. Instead of the typical “bucket list”, I turned it into a Spring Break Bucket List BINGO printable! Heck yes! Our list of activities became an activity in and of itself!
So I haven’t decided yet what to give them when we do get a bingo, maybe an extra treat or an added privilege or just the fun of us all yelling “BINGO!”, but I’ll worry about that later.
I just couldn’t wait to share the printable with y’all! I love how pretty and festively spring like it turned out!
In case you also wanted your bucket list in the standard bucket list form setup, I also designed a Spring Break Bucket List without the bingo element added to it for you.
