Sonnet 116 makes a perfect Shakespeare Valentines Printable!
This is one of my FAVORITE pieces from William Shakespeare. The first time I ever heard it was in the movie Sense and Sensibility when Maryanne recited a part of this sonnet with Willoughby.
Heart gasp!!!
The first time I saw this movie, I was in my young teenage years so I was ALL about this stuff and I’m not going to lie, I wished Maryanne had ended up with Willoughby and not Colonel Brandon.
Anyways… LOVED the movie! Especially since it introduced me to Jane Austen’s book Sense and Sensibility which I have read a few times and Shakespeare’s Sonnet 116 which I committed to memory because… well, I like it that much. 🙂
