For anyone planning this year’s Relief Society birthday celebrations or any Relief Society activity for that matter, have I got the icebreaker game for you! A game that will encourage the sisters to get to know each other better and have a fun time doing so!
But first some of you might be asking, “What is a Relief Society?”
Well, it just so happens to be the world’s largest women’s organization. This wonderful group of women strive to better themselves and lift all those around them up. Everyone is welcome to join this empowering group.
I’ve met and worked with some of the most AMAZING women ever! And I’m lucky and blessed to call them my best of friends.
You can learn more about this uplifting group here or feel free ask any questions in the comments below and I’ll happily answer them.
It’s a little like bingo but with a LOT more socializing! That’s why it’s a perfect activity to start your Relief Society event with. It requires everyone to intermingle to be able to participate. And it’s such a fun way to help the sisters learn more about each other. It’s very similar to my “Find the Sister” game but with the added bingo element. I call it “Sister Bingo.”
How to Play Sister Bingo
To play, everyone will need a “Sister Bingo” game card (link below) as well as a writing utensil (these are my favorite!). They will then need to find sisters that fit each of the descriptions and write their name down by that description. The object of the game is to be the first person to get five boxes filled in a row and yell “BINGO!” Hence where the “Bingo” twist of the game comes into play.
You could establish the rule that they can’t have the same sister’s name written twice. Obviously this may depend upon how large your group is but it definitely would encourage even more socializing!
The game can end as soon as someone gets bingo or it can be extended to the first three (or whatever number you want to throw in there) bingo winners. And of course there always is the option to play until the first sister gets blackout. Just depends on how long you would like the game to last and how many prizes you want to hand out.
Obviously you don’t have to have prizes. But really, who doesn’t like to win something??!?! The prizes don’t have to be elaborate. Something simple like a pretty inspirational bookmark or a small bag of delectable chocolates would be just perfect.

Thanks so much for explaining Relief Society. Many bloggers don’t think to provide that kind of side note for their audience. You’re awesome 👍🏼

Ah thanks Mindy! I needed that today! 🙂

By any chance do you have the Bingo Card that you can add some different questions? I just love your card and would like to add some different questions for some of the older sisters in our ward. Love your ideas!
Thanks, Zora Sorenson

Gracias!!! The Spanish one is super helpful.
In the Spanish version, there is two boxes for cutting hair, one in English and one in Spanish.
Could we please get one with the corrected one or could we have permission to change it?
Thanks so much!!

I would like to get the relief society sisters bingo cards. The link from here doesn’t work. How can I get these for an activity?
Aspen Jay says
Hi Sabrina,
Are you trying to open it from your phone/ipad? It works best to download the files on your computer or laptop. Then check your downloads folder, for it will go straight there and will be in a zipped file format. You just have to double click on it to open the file. Let me know if that helps!
Cheers,
AJ
