Thank goodness for Valentine’s Day right?!
I don’t think I’m the only one who suffers from the post Christmas blues. After the hype of the holidays, of Halloween, Thanksgiving, and then Christmas, you step into a month of… nothing.
It’s so, so, well, sad.
That’s why I’m thankful for the pinks and reds that begin immerging mid January to help brighten up the drab months of winter.
As my decor changes from trees and tinsel to hearts and more hearts, I find it funny that many stores are trying to merge the two holidays. Or rather carry on the decor from Christmas into Valentines. For example, I was at Hobby Lobby and saw pink trees with hearts, a pink and red nutcracker, and a little pink gingerbread house.
See! It totally screams Christmas, yet also Valentine’s Day.
I sent this pic to my sister and she responded with,
“It’s recycling. They just paint over the Christmas stuff, put on a few hearts, and sell it again.”
Sure looks like it!
Valentine Tags that are PRETTTTYYY!
I wanted to share with ya’ll some valentine tags that I created for the season. But don’t worry! These printable valentine tags are purely Valentine’s Day themed, no hidden Christmas trees here!
Although that would be funny. Maybe next year!
The designs of the tags are filled with hearts, fun fonts, and tons of red and pink. It would make a perfect finishing touch to any little valentine gift you want to give. Originally I was planning on sharing just one design, but I couldn’t choose which one I liked best, so decided to go with my six favorites. Which one do you like best?
Quick & Easy Gift Assembly!
These printable valentine tags are a great size for all of your valentine gift giving needs, especially when it comes to little cards to hand out in your child’s class. The BEST part is assembling them all together is super quick!
The fastest way to attach these would be stick the tags directly onto the treat with double sided tape. All those 25+ mini gifts will be assembled lickety-split with this method! Super fast and yet still looks so cute!
Here are some valentine candies that would be perfect with this:
I used double sided tape to adhere the valentine gift tags to my individual baggies of cookies. The Valentine tags really helped dress up my naked cookie sacks! So simple to do, yet really took my cookies to the next level!
My two year old thought they were so delicious looking, that when I left the room, I found that she had helped herself to one. Sissy!!?!?! I guess it was a good thing I made extra!
If you would prefer not to have to write or have your child sign their name 25+ bazillion times, then you will want to check out the editable valentine tags in the shop (except for the “Be Mine, Valentine” tag, it just didn’t look right being edible)! Same super cute designs with the added perk of just needing to type your child’s name once, and all the tags will automatically get updated with it. Use the code VALENTINELOVE to receive 50% your order! Just trying to help make your life a little easier. 🙂
Printable Valentine Tags are Very Versatile
Another way to add the valentine tags to your goodies would be by simply punching a hole in the top and stringing through some pretty twine to attach it. This works great if you have several small candies that need to be contained in a sack or if you opted instead to hand out small toys to your child’s classmates.
Here are a few of my children’s top choices of Valentine’s Day themed toys to hand out that you can’t go wrong with!
