Little Tennessee is 11 months old… almost a year and Boston just turned 3! I can hardly believe it. Tennessee hasn’t shown any initiative to walk, I guess he figures he can crawl everywhere he needs to go. Although he does pull himself up on things, especially on the train table the boys received for Christmas, which Boston isn’t such a fan of.
Christmas Festivities
Sorry to take you back to December, but we had family come into town last minute for some fun times that I couldn’t help but share. My husband’s mother and brothers were planning a trip for the holidays that fell through. When we heard the news we emphatically suggested they come to our house for Christmas. It was less than a few weeks away, but surprisingly enough they came!
They all stayed for about a week and that week was packed full of site seeing and Christmas entertaining.
Isn’t this a great picture?! Notice everyone is looking at the camera and smiling! Koodos to us on the automatic camera timer. (o:
Tennessee was thrilled with all the wrapping paper he was able to destroy!
Boston was really cute to watch when he came around the corner and found the train table from ‘Santa’. He was speechless for a minute or two before he dove in and started playing. He even let us put on the Santa hat which I thought looked great with his pajamas.
Another reason the visit worked out perfectly was I got out of singing they all sang in church together. See my husband and I had been asked to sing in church a few weeks prior, which I’m always a little apprehensive about for I am lacking in that talent. Soooo when my in-laws confirmed they were coming, I slyly said what could be better than to have three men sing “We Three Kings.” My Mother in-law does such a wonderful job playing the piano and offered to play so I was able to sit back in the congregation and enjoy the whole thing. (o: They sounded great!
We had our fill of late night card games.
Needless to say my sons enjoyed all the added attention from their uncles and Grandma. It definitely was a very merry Christmas!
