My friends, I am so excited to finally share with you the Elephant Baby Shower Guest Book Printable that I created for the Pink Elephant Baby Shower last month. This is a SUPER cute baby shower decoration which doubles as a memorable gift for the mama-to-be to hang up in her nursery.
This baby shower guest book is such a great alternative to the standard old guest book because those get written in and then stashed away somewhere. But this baby shower guest book can be hung up in the new little one’s nursery. So even after the baby shower is over and the late nights of caring for the baby come, the new mama can peak up at all the names captured on the guest book and remember all the love that was showered upon her and her new little one.
I have the little elephant printable in both blue and pink for you to choose from. Were you hoping for a different color? I have several more color to choose from in my shop.
Recreate the look:
Elephant Guest Book
This little guest book is pretty simple and straightforward to put together. But just in case you have any questions of how to do it, I’ll walk you through the process. First things first, we need to gather the supplies.
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
- Elephant Guest Book Printable (link below)
- Cardstock – this is for the balloon circles. I used three hues of pink.
- Baker’s Twine
- 3d Foam Tape Squares
- 11 x 14 inch Frame
- 1.5 inch Circle Hole Punch
How to edit the PDF file
I created this guest book to be customizable by you so that your sweet little baby’s name will appear in the space. You could manually write in name if you would like. But for those who would like to type it in, let me walk you through this simple process.
After you download the guest book, to be able to personalize the text you will need to open it in Adobe Reader (you can download Adobe Reader for free here). Once you have it open, a prompt will appear asking you to ‘fill in the form’. All you need to do is type over the highlighted blue text, customizing it with the baby’s first or last name, and hit save.
That’s it! In case you are curious, the font that I used can be downloaded for free here.
How to print the Elephant Guest Book
This elephant guest book is formatted as an 11×14 inch design. Since my printer only prints standard 11×8.5 paper size, I took my guest book into a print shop to be printed. The place I printed it at, didn’t supply cardstock in that exact size size. So I printed the elephant guest book on the next available size, which was an 11×17 inch piece of white cardstock. Then I trimmed a little off the top and bottom of the guest book so that it would be able to fit inside a 11×14 inch frame.
If you would prefer the guest book to be smaller, you can always scale down the print size on your computer and then just print it from home. If you do decide to print it from home, I would recommend printing it on white card stock for the best quality.
Assembling the Elephant Guest Book
The frame I used had glass in the front. So what I did was place the glass inside the back of the frame. This way the balloons could be taped directly onto the elephant printable.
For the circle balloons, I cut out about 30 circles measuring 1.5 inches from three different hues of pink cardstock. I used a spice lid to draw my circles to ensure they were about the same size. If I had to do it again, I would definitely invest in a big circle punch to save on time. Another great idea would be to use a balloon hole punch to actually have balloon shapes).
>> If you detest cutting out circles and would like me to personalize it for you, you can purchase an elephant guest book print with the balloons already printed on over in the shop.
The circles weren’t attached to the guest book until after they were signed by guests. I wanted the guest book to be displayed right side up, but that would have made it very difficult for guests to sign. So I had the circle cut outs on the table with a sign that asked everyone to sign one circle.
Recreate the look:
I cut out five varying lengths of baker’s twine and secured them onto the guest book with tape. The paper circle cutouts would be covering up the top of the strings where the tape was so I didn’t need to worry about the tape showing.
For the part of the twine the elephant holds… well that part was a bit tricky. With three of the ends of the twine, I cut them a little shorter and with a tiny, tiny piece of tape I bundled them together and then glued them down.
I covered the tape with the two remaining twine pieces with a small dab of glue for each. (If you want to skip this whole process, just use the guest book printable provided below that already has the strings included. I won’t judge. 🙂 )
After the guests wrote their names on the circles, I stuck each circle on the elephant printable using 3D foam squares (I LOVE this type of tape) which gave it a little dimension.
AND THAT’S IT!
Super duper cute, right?!

Denise Peters says
Do you have this Guest book printable with the elephant inside ears in gray? We are having a gender reveal and would rather not have pink or blue on it.
Aspen Jay says
Hi Denise,
I have a gray elephant guest book in my shop that you can click on the link to see. I can customize it with what ever name or message you would like on the guest book. Or anther option is, just print the elephant guest book from this post in black and white! 🙂
Ann-Marie Haime says
Hi it’s asking for a password to edit name
Aspen Jay says
Hi Ann-Marie,
It only asks for a password if you are trying to change the word in design software like photoshop and illustrator. But if you open it up in adobe reader (a free program and the link is above) then it won’t. 🙂
Jennifer Armerding says
I’m running into a similar problem. Wondering if it’s because I’m on an iPhone. When I open the pdf in Acrobat Reader, there is no option to fill or replace the baby name. It simply pops up with ‘Read only’. It’s so stinkin’ cute 🥰
Aspen Jay says
Hi Jennifer,
I’m so glad you like it! 🙂 It works best if you can edit it on a laptop or desktop. It doesn’t always work on an ipad or iphone.
Lisa says
I love this guest book idea and used the pink elephant for my daughter when we had her baby shower three years ago. Now she is hosting a baby shower for her sister-in-law and they need a gender neutral and I thought I remembered you had one in yellow and your blog talks about a free editable version in yellow but I am not finding it. Is it on this page and I am missing it? By the way, this is hanging on the wall in my granddaughter’s bedroom! Thanks so much.
Aspen Jay says
Hi Lisa,
I do have a yellow one in my shop! You can find it here.
Best of luck with all the baby shower preparations!
Cheers,
AJ
millie redrup says
Hi Aspen,
My friend has asked me to use your printable for her baby shower, we are making favours too and would love to stick to the same fonts. what are the two fonts used in this please?
Aspen Jay says
Hi Millie,
I used the Avenir Condensed Hand and the Jenna Sue fonts. There are matching favors and lots of games in my shop so if you are running short on time, be sure to check them out! Good luck with all the baby shower preparations! 🙂
Cheers,
AJ
Cathrine Timpone says
It’s exquisite not just good!
Tina says
Thanks for sharing this beautiful design. I am using this for my daughters teacher who is expecting and will get the whole class to sign a “balloon” with their name. The frame I have purchased also has glass, do I put this over when it is ready?
Aspen Jay says
Oh how cute Tina! I keep the glass in the back of the frame, personally, just so it doesn’t push down the 3-d affect that was created with the balloons, but you can do whatever you want! 🙂
Misti says
Do you have this free print available in purple? My baby shower is tomorrow and O’d love to use this design
Kathleen Anne Rollings says
Hi, i love the guest book with the animal and balloons. just wondering if you have one with a cub animal? cheers
Denise says
Hi. I love this idea and used the pink printout for a friend’s baby shower last year. This year I am having a little girl myself and I am wondering if you have this available with the purple elephant like those on your Etsy shop?
Camille says
Do you happen to have a link to an 8 X 10 printable?
Aspen Jay says
Hi Camille,
You can always play with the print settings to reduce the size, or I have seen several print it off on a 8×10 it just is really big for the space. You can always head over to my shop and I will customize the guest book size to your liking. Best of luck!
Cheers,
AJ
Misti says
Can you create this is a light purple for me?
Aspen Jay says
Hi Misti,
Yep! I have a purple elephant guest book in my shop. Just click here.
Misti says
It’s not available as a free download like the pink, yellow and blue? I’ve already bought all the supplies for purple, cut out the circles and have the twine.
Aspen Jay says
You are on top of things! Yep, I have the purple elephant in the shop with the option of balloons or just strings or I can take out the strings completely, which sounds like it would be a better fit for you. 🙂
Sarah Atkinson says
Hi Aspen,
This is a great idea! I’m wondering where you are located as I have a baby shower on this Sunday and would love to order this but it won’t make it here in time via post so wondering if I could pick up if you’re near by.
Aspen Jay says
Hi Sarah,
You can print off the free printable or if you want to order one, just head over to my shop. All my items are download files that you can print from home or at a printing shop. So when you order, I can have your guest book to you within 24 hours. 🙂
Sara says
THANK YOU!!!
What a blessing…you are SO KIND!
We LOVE your design!
Aspen Jay says
Ah thanks for taking the time to write your sweet note Sara! I needed that today! 🙂 So glad you like it!
Cynthia Fullman says
thank you for sharing your design. It was a big hit at my niece and her husband’s baby shower. We have a large family and she had many guest, I maybe should have put it on a larger board, lol. Thank you again.
I wanted to share of picture, but there is not a place to upload the picture. If you have a business email, I can forward it to you.
Jessica says
What glue should we use for the string ?
Aspen Jay says
Hi Jessica,
I actually used tape to secure the string on the top part and then just covered them with the circles/balloons. For the part of the twine the elephant holds, with three of the ends of the twine, I cut them a little shorter and with a tiny, tiny piece of tape I bundled them together. I covered the tape with the two remaining twine pieces with a small dab of Elmers glue for each.
Christie says
Thank You for this! Printing the one with lines and having guests leave a thumbprint for the balloon and sign.
Aspen Jay says
You are most welcome Christie! Love the thumbprint idea! Will you have them sign over their thumbprint? Just curious…
Chelsea says
Out of curiosity what did you use for the thumb print?
Miriam Chu says
Hi,
I love the Welcome little one guest book. We used it at a baby shower – it came out great. I printed it on a 8 1/2 x 11 linen paper. Now they are having a second baby shower in Canada and would like to to the same. Unfortunately, I can’t find 11 x 14 linen paper to print it on. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you
Aspen Jay says
Hi Miriam,
You could try ordering that size paper online or calling around to a few stores to see if they have it. Or you could just print it out again on an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper. Best of luck!
Cheers,
AJ
Sarah says
Thank u it is very very nice and great guest book I like it very much
Aspen Jay says
Thanks Sarah! 🙂
Tori says
I just used this for a baby shower. It came out great! I blogged about it here! Thanks for making all these resources available.
Jacinta says
Hi Aspen,
I just LOVE the font you’ve used for the text welcome little one! Could you please share where you got it from! 😀
Aspen Jay says
Hi Jainta,
I am a big fan of that font too! It is called “Jenna Sue” and you can grab it for free on dafont.com. After you use it, you will start seeing it around almost everywhere. 🙂
Cheers,
AJ
Jamie Benson says
Where do you find cardstock the is 11×17?
Aspen Jay says
Hi Jaime,
The elephant guest book is designed to be printed as an 11×14 inch print. I printed it off as an 11×17 and then trimmed it down because that was the closest size in cardstock the printing place I had it printed at had to an 11×14. So if where ever you are getting it printed has 11×14 inch paper- super! You don’t have to trim anything down. 🙂
Cheers,
AJ
Jamie Benson says
Thank you so much for answering me so quickly! Now I have another question….how did you get it printed at the printers! How did you get the the file? I’m not real computer literate lol!
Thank you,
Jamie
Aspen Jay says
Hi Jaime,
Save the elephant guest book file to your computer and then to a flash drive. Take the flash drive to the printing place of your choosing and they can pull up the design on their computer and get it printed for you! 🙂 Hopefully that helps, just let me know if not!
Cheers,
AJ
Kimberly says
Hi AJ,
I’ve successfully downloaded the PDF of the pink elephant with Strings and am able to change the name, but when I go to save and print, the “Baby…” part moves up and overlaps the “Welcome Little” part. Any suggestions?
Love the design!
Melissa says
Same for me! Anyone find a solution?
Thanks for sharing!
Aspen Jay says
Which program are you opening it up in to edit? To edit the guest book you MUST use the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Until you install Adobe Reader on your computer, your PDF files will open in the ‘Reader’ app (if on a Windows) or Mac Preview (if on a Mac) and the templates won’t work correctly (in particular the fonts will be incorrect and unformatted).
Lynne says
Can you please tell me the exact name of the font that you used… When I click on the link the font that pops up does not look like the font you used… Please help I need to add the baby’s name before Friday
Aspen Jay says
Hi Lynne,
The font is: Avenir Condensed Hand. It’s just the font used for the 2nd line (with the name).
Have fun at the shower!
Brittany says
Can you make the Welcome Baby editable too? I wanted to make one of these for my baby’s 1st birthday and she has an Elephant theme.
Thanks!!
Teresa says
I found out how to edit it on my computer. I hope it can help other people. I did download adobe from the link provided. When I click on the link for the elephant I wanted, I had to save it as a file and then open it in adobe and then it let me edit it.
Aspen Jay says
Thanks Teresa! 🙂
Monique says
This is soooooo cute? Any chance you can make this with a teddy bear? Pretty, pretty, please? ☺☺☺
Missy says
Hello, I love this idea. I was able to add a name, but when it prints the name does not show. I have pulled it up on several devices and the name is there until I hit print.
Aspen Jay says
Hi Missy,
Hmm… I wonder why it is giving you a hard time. Do you save it first before you try printing it? Were you able to figure out what was wrong?
Maria says
Hello, I am having the same issue as Missy.
Aspen Jay says
Did you try saving the file to your computer first?
Sara says
Hi Missy,
I am having the same issue….did you figure this out? I have successfully added “Baby XXX” and even see it on my computer screen after saving. But when I send it to be printed professionally, it only prints the “Welcome Little” line….
Aspen Jay says
Sara- did you try saving the file to your computer first and then go in and edit it?
Lorie says
I can’t get the PDF file to ask me to type the baby’s name on the pink elephant. What am I doing wrong?
Aspen Jay says
Hi Lorie,
Did you open it up in Adobe Acrobat? Have you tried a different computer? Hopefully one of those helps! 🙂
Megan says
Do you have this in purple?
Aspen Jay says
Hi Megan,
I have a purple eared version in my etsy shop. Here is the link: https://www.etsy.com/listing/486678395
But you could always just print out the pink one and cut out purple balloons/circles, just another idea. 🙂
Cheers,
AJ
Brittany says
I love this idea! I was wondering if you could post the blue elephant link in a jpeg format, the website I would like to use to print does not allow pdf files.
Thank you 🙂
Aspen Jay says
Hi Brittany,
You could take it to a printing place like Kinkos or Staples. But if you are still set on the JPEG file, go ahead and purchase a customize an item listing found in my etsy shop and I will change it for you. 🙂
Cheers,
AJ
Nasreen says
We have like 60 people coming to the shower, do you think I can fit that many balloons?
Aspen Jay says
Hi Nasreen!
Hmm… you know I don’t know. We had 26 circles on our guestbook… 60 might be pushing it with the 1.5 inch circles. Perhaps if the circles were only 1 inch in size. You could also print the guestbook on a larger piece of paper being sure not to fit it to size. Please let me know how you make out!
Cheers,
AJ
Sonja says
Hi! I used the pink elephant balloon guestbook for a shower I planned and it turned out FAB- UUUU-LOUS! So adorably cute! Thanks for sharing your ideas and talents with us!
Aspen Jay says
Hooray! Thanks for stopping by to tell me Sonja! That just made my day! 🙂
Joy says
Do you have a monkey theme available for a girl?
Aspen Jay says
Hi Joy!
Oh I LOVE monkeys!!! I currently don’t have a monkey design but that is definitely on my list of things to create in the future!
Terri Donaldson says
Hi first I love the elephant baby shower guest printable however when I choose the yellow and try to print it the elephant is pink.
Aspen Jay says
Hi Terri,
Hmmm…. that is odd. When you download the elephant guest book in yellow and see on it your computer before you print it, is it yellow or pink?
Terri Donaldson says
yellow
Aspen Jay says
Do you have access to another printer and/or a different computer? May be worth checking to see if it is just the printer or computer that is changing the color.
Mai says
Is there a way to move the editable box down a bit? When I edit and add the name it only show the bottle of the lettering the top is covered.
Aspen Jay says
Hi Mai,
Hmm… I am not sure why it is giving you that problem. Just curious, what type of computer are you using? Have you tried using a different computer?
Mai says
I”m using a Lenovo. No I haven’t tried any other computer.
Aspen Jay says
Hi Mai,
I’m not sure why it isn’t working for you. Do you have access to a MAC? Perhaps that would make a difference. If all else fails, you could print the guest book version without the customized name found here: elephant guest book. Good luck!
Brenda Fischer says
When ready to print click the fit to size and it will automatically fit the picture to the size of the paper.
Jessica says
You are amazing! Thank you for this! I love and that you make the template customizable for name. I’m planning a pink elephant themed baby shower so this is perfect.
Aspen Jay says
Oh I’m so glad Jessica! 🙂 Thanks for taking the time to write such a sweet comment! Have fun with the baby shower preparations!
Jessica says
Omygoodness, now that I’m re-reading my comment, I realize it sounds funny haha. I think I was just so excited to discover the template that I wasn’t paying attention to my typing.
I just threw a baby shower this past weekend and this guest book frame came out so cute! It went with my diaper cake theme. The mommy-to-be and everyone loved it. Thank you again! Here are pictures:

Aspen Jay says
Hi Jessica! Everything looks SO cute at the baby shower your threw!!! And I’m honored the little elephant was a part of such a lovely display! 🙂 Thanks for taking the time to share some pictures of the shower with me! Love it!!!
Emma says
This is just too adorable! I don’t need a baby shower printable (I wish…lol!) so I’m going to adapt this cutie for a birthday card. Thank you for sharing your work!
Aspen Jay says
You are most welcome Emma! 🙂
Gina says
I am so thankful for your generosity and creativity! This was the sweetest thing at the shower I threw today! I used the pink elephant generic “baby” print since the mama to be hasn’t chosen a name yet. Instead of a standard frame, I used a shadow box. It came out so adorable and the guest of honor was thrilled. Thank you again!!
Aspen Jay says
You are most welcome Gina! Thanks so much for taking the time to leave such a sweet comment! 🙂
sherry says
I absolutely love this! Everytime I add the baby’s name the text appears directly behind the non editable text? I am using the same font as you used for “baby”….. How do it get it underneath?
Aspen Jay says
Thanks Sherry! 🙂
Hmm.. not sure why you are having that problem with the text. Did you try downloading and editing it on another computer? Hopefully that will help…
Emma says
Can i make the elephant bigger? thank you
Sally says
Planning to do for my daughters baby shower. Did you attach the balloons right at the shower, or afterwards? When all balloons are attached did you put the glass back over the balloons and strings to frame?
Aspen Jay says
Hi Sally,
Congrats on the new grandbaby!!! For the guest book, I attached the balloons after people signed them- a few at a time during the shower. For the glass… I’m not sure what I would do, probably just leave the glass in the back. I give the frame to the mamas so I’m not quite sure! 🙂
Hope you have fun planning the baby shower!
Cheers,
AJ
Mia says
Hello Aspen,
I first came across your designs and loved them instantly . I’ll later have more detailed questions for you later on. I would first like to ask is there a possibility you could change colors of a baby shower invitation to a mixture of the blue and pink because i was wanting to use them for my gender reveal party .
Thank you in advance !
Aspen Jay says
Oh, Mia, you are SO sweet! 🙂 Most definitely yes I can customize the colors for you. When you purchase the invite just add a “customize an item” listing and I will personalize it for you. That is going to be a fun baby shower!!
Cait says
The yellow prints out pink with blue writing
Aspen Jay says
Hi Cait,
Sorry you are having problems with the color. Did you try downloading the printable from a different computer?
Kristy Reischman says
Thanks so much! SO excited to use this for my sister-in-laws shower. Do you think it would work as 8×10?
Alessandra says
Hello, I love your Elephant Baby Shower Guest Book Printable and thinking of using for my friend’s baby shower. She decided to wait for when she’ll give birth to pick the name.
My question is, is it possible to add the word one to the phrase ‘Welcome little ❤’ so that it’ll read ‘Welcome little one ❤’ ?
If so, how is it done?
Thank you
Aspen Jay says
Hi Alessandra! I made a non-editable guest book printable just for you, here is the post link: https://aspenjay.com/elephant-guest-book-printable/ Hope you have a great time planning your friend’s baby shower! 🙂
Diane says
Hi, I was wondering if you could make a little change to the “Welcome Baby”
I just had my first grandbaby.. arrived early at 28 weeks doing fantastic. Her name is Adalynn Mary.
I was wondering if you could put in the babys name instead of baby?
Aspen Jay says
Hi Diane,
Congrats on your very first grandbaby!!! That is awesome! 🙂 Yes the printable can be customized with your sweet grandbaby’s name. You can purchase a “Customize an Item” listing from my Etsy Shop (click HERE) and I will make the changes for you. 🙂
Cheers,

hi thanks so much for sharing the printable guest book! may i know what font is being used for “welcome little”? i’m thinking of using the same font for the instructions 🙂 thanks in advance!
Aspen Jay says
You are most welcome Estee! The font I used is called “Jenna Sue”.
Blythe says
I love this and think it would be perfect for my SIL. I would just like to make a little change and didn’t know if that’s something I could order from your Etsy site, or if it’s even possible? My SIL has always called my brother “Mister”. So now that they’re expecting a baby boy, they’ve nicknamed him “Little Mister”. Could the “little” between Welcome and the heart be deleted, so that I could put it on the line below? It would look something like…
Welcome <3
Little Mister
If it's not possible I totally understand. Just thought it was worth asking!
Aspen Jay says
Hi Blythe,
I am so glad you like the little elephant. 🙂 Yes, I can make that change for you. Just purchase a customization listing (here is the link: customize an item) and remind me of the changes you want to the elephant guest book. That is a totally cute idea to put the “Little Mister” in there. 🙂
Blythe says
Thank you so much!
Fran says
Hello. I love your site. It has lots of ideas to use for our Double Baby shower for my two daughters in law expecting at the end of this year. We are planning to use your blue elephant and yellow bunny themes. We wondered if the ‘Lets shower the Mamma to be’,’Please sign the Balloon’ and ‘Please take one – Thanks for coming’ are available to download in blue elephant and yellow bunny?? Also, are there Bingo cards available for the yellow bunny theme? Thanks so much for making all of this available. They are the cutest thing ever !
Aspen Jay says
Thanks Fran! I’m happy the bunny and elephant are going to make it to your baby shower! 🙂
I have elephant signs you can download on my Etsy shop, here is the link: Elephant Baby Shower Signs. When is the baby shower? I don’t have the bunny bingo cards on my Etsy shop yet, but I can create those sooner than later so you will have them. Just let me know!
Cheers,
AJ

Love!!

Brianna says
So glad I found this! Though had some trouble downloading it since I’m working off a cell phone but I did get it to work out eventually. I’ll be using this at my baby shower next weekend but instead of cutting circles I’ll be having everyone doing their finger prints. I can’t wait to see it all done
Aspen Jay says
Oh the fingerprints would be super cute! Can’t wait to see what it looks like! 🙂
bonnie says
Hello! I love this idea! Do you happen to have an elephant that is gender neutral?
Aspen Jay says
Thanks Bonnie! You can print the elephant out in black in white to make the ears gray or… I literally just uploaded a yellow eared version of the elephant that you can download.
Cheers,
AJ
Cynthia says
Hello, thank you for having this guest book sign in available will be using it for a babyshower my question to you Is do you have available an instruction sheet that can be place at the table so they know what to do
Thank you
Aspen Jay says
Hi Cynthia,
You are most welcome! For the shower, I just used a chalkboard sign that I wrote ‘please sign a balloon’. Since then, I created a sign using the elephant that asks people to ‘sign a balloon’ along with some other table signs that are available in my Etsy shop. Here is the link: https://www.etsy.com/listing/468681981/pink-elephant-baby-shower-table-signs?ref=shop_home_active_9 (also available in blue. 🙂 )
Cheers,
AJ
shira says
Hi! I really love this design and want to use it for my sister’s baby shower next weekend. I typed the name in the box. Once I clicked outside of the box, the name was behind the text above it. do you have any advice for fixing? If not, can I order this with the baby’s name through your easy site pls?
Thanks
Aspen Jay says
Hi Shira,
I’m sorry you are having troubles with it. After you clicked outside of the text box, did you click on done editing? It may still been in the editing stage so it showed that… you could try printing it… or try from another computer. If all else fails, you could message me through Etsy and we can figure something out. Hopefully that helps!
Cheers,
AJ

This is so cute! Im just wondering when you printed it at the store what did you print it from? Was it already on a regular piece of paper?
Aspen Jay says
Thanks Gavin! I saved the pdf file to a flash drive and took it to be printed.
Brittney says
Is there any way you could email me the pdf file? Bchatlosh@yahoo.com
I am having trouble getting it to print at Office Depot
Aspen Jay says
Hi Brittney,
Sorry I didn’t see your comment until now! Were you able to figure it out? Did you try downloading it, saving it to a flash drive, and then taking it to Office Depot to print? Which elephant did you want?
Vicki says
Is there a way to add the baby’s name? I know it says it can’t be edited I was just hoping to add a name 🙂
Aspen Jay says
Hi Vicki! Uh, oh where did you read that it cannot be edited?! The “welcome little” is not edible but underneath it, where I have “baby Anderson” is completely edible. Go ahead and insert the baby’s name. 🙂
I explain how to go about it right underneath the elephant guest book links .
Cheers,
AJ

I am having trouble to write on the text box. Any Suggestions? My letters are too big. Thank you
Aspen Jay says
Hi Juliana,
I’m sorry you are having troubles with it, how frustrating! Did you download the font that I mentioned? Sometimes when you use a different font although they might say they are the same “size” one could be bigger than the other. You could try a different font, or the one I set for this- its free. Hopefully that helps! 🙂
Natalia says
Adorable!!! What are the dimensions it’s meant to be printed on?
Aspen Jay says
Thanks Natalia!
It works best printed on a 11in x 17in paper/cardstock. Then cut it down to fit in a 11in x 14in frame.
Alina says
I absolutely love this idea! This is pure talent! I am throwing a baby shower for a friend next week and I really want to use this. There s only a little problem. I type in the baby s name and it s all good, I download it and then when I open it there is no baby name. Any ideas what I m doing wrong? I will still use this anyway, even if I have to write down the name myself :). Thank you for this!
Aspen Jay says
Hi Alina! I’m so glad you like it! That is so weird that the name magically disappears… Did you save the pdf file after you typed in the baby’s name? That’s the only thing I can think of. You could try using a different computer and printer and see if that makes a difference.
Hope you have a fabulous time at the shower! I just love parties! 🙂
Cheers,
AJ
Tiffany says
I am having trouble saving the PDF after I have made my changes. It will only let me save a blank copy of the page, so it looks just like the download. I was going to have it printed professionally, but I’m not sure how to do that if I can’t save my changes. Can you steer me in the right direction?
Aspen Jay says
Hi Tiffany,
So right after you make the change you try to save it and it won’t? Have you tried saving it from a different computer?
Joy says
This is absolutely adorable…can’t seem to find 11×17 cardstock anywhere. Any suggestions?
Aspen Jay says
Hi Joy!
Did you try going to a printing place? I went to FexEx/Kinkos to print the elephant. They had a 11×17 piece of paper (they may have not called it cardstock) that they printed the elephant on. I then cut it down to fit the frame. You can print it off on a 8×11 but the elephant will be big. Hopefully that helps, if not let me know!
Cheers,
AJ
CM says
I’ve tried printing this on standard 8 1/2×11 paper, but the elephant is cut off at the bottom of the page. Tried several ways to reposition the image to be higher up on the page, but with no success.
Aspen Jay says
Hi CM,
Sorry about the troubles you have been having! Have you tried printing it on an 11×17? It was meant to be printed for an 11×14 frame.
Mira says
Thank you so much for sharing this! It’s just adorable!! 🙂
Aspen Jay says
Thanks Mira. 🙂 I’m glad you like it!
amber says
i really want to use the elephant balloon picture but i can’t get it to download:(
Aspen Jay says
Hi Amber,
I’m sorry you are having a difficult time downloading the baby elephant guestbook printable! What happens when you click on the link? Have you tried downloading it on a different computer?
Sara DeLeonardis says
Any chance the font can say “Happy 1st Birthday (heart)” with the name underneath?
Aspen Jay says
Hi Sara,
That would be adorable for a first birthday guest book! I could definitely customize one for you. If you wanted to place an order via my Etsy shop then I could change the the elephant printable to have the exact wording you want. Just order an invite and write me a message of what you want the guest book to say and I’ll send you the guest book. Of course if you have any questions, let me know!
Sara DeLeonardis says
Thank you! Just sent over the order!
Donna says
I was wondering if you could replace the elephant with a butterfly?
MaryAnn Bunnell says
Is There Anyway You Can Modify The Blue One For Me? My Phone Will Not Download.
Aspen Jay says
Hi Maryann! I’m sorry you are having a hard time downloading the guest book printable! I tried it on my phone and it worked fine… hmm… could you try on a computer or ask a friend if it downloads on their phone?
Cindy says
This is adorable! Thank you. I plan to use this for my daughter-in-law’s shower in June.
Aspen Jay says
Thanks Cindy! I am so glad you like it! 🙂 Have fun planning your daughter-in-laws baby shower!!!
Maria says
I love your design but i’m having issues with printing it out. What print settings did you use to print it out?
Aspen Jay says
Hi Maria,
I’m so sorry you are having printing problems! I just printed it out normal on my printer to make sure everything was correct and for my final (since I don’t have color printer) I took it to a copy store and had it printed. Have you tried printing something else out on your computer? What does it say when you are trying to print it out?
Maria says
Thank you so much for getting back to me but i actually figured it out. Thanks for your help!
Aspen Jay says
Great! Glad you got it all worked out Maria!
Amy says

Thembi says
Hi i was wondering if you have a printable of the guest book with blue in the ears?
Thanks!!
Aspen Jay says
Hi Thembi,
Yes! I just updated the blog post to also include a blue version of the elephant guest book. 🙂 Enjoy!
hazel says
Hi!!! Thanks a lot for sharing this! It’s so adorable! I have one question tho, did you stick the adhesives on the back of the balloons right away or were they on the frame already as the guests signs a balloon and stick it on? Thank you please let me know. 🙂
Aspen Jay says
Hi Hazel,
Thanks! 🙂 I actually stuck on the balloons myself- just to get the placement I wanted. So there wasn’t any adhesive on the balloons or yet on the picture in the frame. After so many guests would sign in, I would go ahead and stick them on. Hopefully that helps! Thanks for stopping by!
Cheers,
AJ
hazel says
HI AJ!
Thanks a lot for sharing, I have made one of the elephant balloons sign up and emailed you a picture. Hope you get it. 🙂
Aspen Jay says
Hi Hazel!
I love it! 😀 Did the mama-to-be like it? Thanks so much for sharing the photo with me and for your sweet email. It was a highlight of my day! Nicely done using the yarn to attach the balloons by the way. 😉
Cheers,
AJ
Aspen Jay says
Hazel! Wait a minute- I just looked at your balloons- are you the mama-to-be?!?!? If so… CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!
Sara says
Where did you get the sweet little elephant image from? I’m hosting a baby shower for my sister-in-law and would like to use the same elephant on the invitation. Please let me know! Thanks!
Sara says
Is the elephant an image of your own? Or is a clipart? Just trying to finish up on my invitations. Thanks for any info!
Aspen Jay says
Hi Sara!
So sorry for the delay! I was throwing another baby shower just yesterday… anyways… thanks for the sweet compliment! I actually designed that little elephant myself. 🙂 I have invitations on etsy using the elephant if you are interested that can be found here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/273790708/pink-elephant-baby-shower-invites
Just let me know if it is for a baby boy…
Hopefully this helps and that all your shower preparations go well! Good luck! 🙂
Cheers,
AJ
Katie Davis says
Love this! I have a question… Do you frame the paper of the elephant inside the glass? Or the paper is on the outside? if it is outside.. how do you put in the frame?
Thanks!
Aspen Jay says
Hi Katie,
Glad you like it! I have the glass in the frame, but put it in the back in the stacking order in the frame (so as not to have the glass just laying around somewhere and to keep the thickness of the contents of the frame so it is not loose). The paper elephant is in the front so that the balloons circles can be applied directly onto the paper. Does that make sense?!? Hopefully that answers your question Katie, just let me know if it doesn’t!
Hope you are having a nice day!
Cheers,
AJ
Hope says
Hi- Thank you for the adorable idea! I can’t seem to get the PDF font to change to type in the baby’s name. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Aspen Jay says
Hi Hope!
Did you download the font I talked about or do you want to use a different font? Here is a helpful tutorial if you wanted to change the font in a PDF: http://www.pdfcomplete.com/cms/tabid/323/Default.aspx?menuid=Edit_1 Hopefully this helps! Just let me know if this doesn’t solve the problem.
Shelby says
So cute! Thank you for sharing!

You are most welcome Shelby! Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
Angela says
I adore this! Do you happen to have a blue or grey version for the little man we’re celebrating this weekend? I’d love to use this!
Aspen Jay says
Hi Angela,
You’re so sweet! 🙂 What I would do to make a little boy version of this, is to swap out the pink balloons for blue ones and then print out the elephant in black and white. This turns the pink parts of the elephant to a nice shade of gray. 🙂 Let me know if you were thinking of something else. Hope it works for you this weekend! I love baby showers. 🙂
Angela says
Black and white! Of course! Seriously, why didn’t I think of that 😜 Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. I’m off to cut out some blue balloons.
Aspen Jay says
🙂 Good luck with the rest of your baby shower preparations Angela! I hope everything turns out just perfect!!!
Aspen Jay says
Hi Angela,
I know your baby shower is over, but I just uploaded a blue version of the baby elephant, so perhaps for the next shower! 🙂
Theresa Eckler says
This is so adorable! Do you by chance have the ability to make the elephant gray in spots where it is pink to use for a neutral baby shower. It’s so so cute!!! 🙂
Aspen Jay says
Hi Theresa!
I’m so glad you like it! Have you tried printing it black and white? I have done it and the pink comes out a nice shade of gray. If this wasn’t what you were looking for, please let me know.
