I’ve been living in a house full of boys for ten years — that was until three years ago, when our home was blessed with a little girl. Despite growing up surrounded by brothers, she is extremely girly. We’re talking sparkles, unicorns, the color pink, princesses, ballerinas… and yes, even makeup! None of my boys ever watched me put on makeup and asked what each and every item was for. It still amazes me how different she is from them — and yet she can absolutely hold her own!
My little sassy princess is currently taking a creative movement ballet class and is completely loving it. I also have the joy of being her teacher, which has made this season feel extra special. I also started teaching a beginner ballet class for young girls, so ballet has quickly become a big part of our lives. Between lesson planning, performances, and a little girl who is constantly twirling and pointing her toes, dance has definitely been on my mind.

Ballerina Valentine Cards
Naturally, I couldn’t help but create these pretty ballerina Valentine cards — for my own little ballerina and for every other child who loves to dance and dream. I wanted something sweet and simple that would feel special to give and that little dancers would truly love.
These printable Valentine cards are perfect for classroom exchanges, dance friends, or ballet classmates. I designed them with different hair colors so there’s a mix of ballerinas to share, making the set feel fun and thoughtful. An added perk, of course, is how quick and easy they are to put together — you can have them finished in no time at all. Simply download the file, print, cut, and sign your name. I love crossing things off my to do list!
