Okay so in actual practice this may be a little scary because the costumes would no doubt get pretty intense and realistic. Let’s just say I wouldn’t want my two year old (after returning from his own trick-or-treating) who is helping to hand out candy to come face to face with a real looking zombie or werewolf or something. Heck, I wouldn’t want to come face to face with them myself!
Though I must admit, I have been trick-or-treating in some form or another up until I had my first child. I mean come on, the candy would last me for months!
But now I am happy to have handed over the candy mantel and enjoy the night of Halloween through my two boys and some of their candy thanks to the “parent candy tax”. 😉
