While others are well underway to accomplishing their new year goals, I’m having a hard time racking my brain to tell my husband when he comes home from work what all I did that day.

We ate food? Everyone is dressed? Well almost anyways…

Seems like the past several months I have been playing catch up on basically everything. The cold weather and sickness hitting our house several times, doesn’t help matters. Whatever it may be, I have been feeling a little overwhelmed lately (let’s just say on our family update for our Christmas cards for myself all I wrote was “surviving”).

Maybe that’s why this certain verse from the Bible in Matthew stood out to me.

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

I definitely have felt laden with a load of care, and it’s nice to take a step back to see life in the bigger picture and know there is always someone there.

This scripture spoke to me and seemed to fit perfectly with the green leaf design I created for a recent baby shower. Hopefully it may help lift your spirits if you need it!
