This 4th of July I wanted to make some of my decorations a little more meaningful by reminding myself and others about the greatness of this country. So I created this Bill of Rights printable that I hope you will enjoy!
Call me strange, but as a teenager I LOVED to learn. To such an extent that I decided to come home to finish my schooling because I was fed up with all the time wasted in high school. After graduating a year early, I spent the next year studying anything and everything. I learned more that year than probably all my years of high school combined.
It was awesome and I even enjoyed waking up at 5:30 every day (what happened to that part of me I would like to know? ๐ ). One subject that I loved learning about was the making of America, namely the Founding Fathers, the Revolutionary War, Constitutional Convention, and everything in that time period (That is why I really liked living in Boston because the history came to life!). I get so passionate about this subject, perhaps my parent’s love for it rubbed off on me.
If you have never read the Bill of Rights and Constitution or it has been awhile, take the time to read them (you could read it directly off the printable if you like. ๐ ). It is a quick read and the document was truly inspired. Did you know that the US Constitution is the 2nd oldest written constitution in the history of the world?! It’s 2nd only to the Massachusetts State Constitution which was written 7 years earlier. Pretty impressive I would say and well worth those four long months of collaboration!

Hope you have a very happy 4th of July!
